In what might become a model for the Catholic Church in the U.S., the New York Archdiocese has set up a compensation program for victims who were sexually abused by priests. The program will be administered by attorney Kenneth Feinberg, who also mediated financial claims against companies including BP( ) and General Motors ( ), and claims related to the 9/11 terror attacks.
