A new report from the federal government says changes in climate are causing harm to Americans and the economy. The National Climate Assessment concludes the nation has already suffered billions of dollars in damages from severe weather-related disruptions. The report pins much of the increase in climate change on human behavior. The White House plans to publicize this report through a host of TV interviews, and it will probably encounter push-back from conservatives.
