I built a tiny seven-day civilization inside Lovable, then gave Claude Opus 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol the exact same settlement, starting resources, and approaching natural disaster. Claude kept 11 of 12 citizens alive in the first matched run while GPT kept only 5—but a high-reasoning rematch became dramatically closer and exposed different failures on both sides. I also walk through how Pocket Providence went from a Plan Mode prompt to a published Lovable app with saved runs, MCP tools, visual refinement, and enough difficulty to make flagship models fail. Try the game yourself, connect another model, and see whether you can keep all 12 citizens alive. Thanks to Lovable for sponsoring this experiment.
