A car bombing in a residential area of Islamabad, Pakistan, has left two suspects and one police officer dead. The blast happened at a checkpoint when officers attempted a body search of two suspects, a man and a woman. The deputy police chief lauded the officers’ bravery, saying that their actions saved the lives of many more.
