Confidence in local economies is surpassing that of the national economy, says Keri Gohman, Head of Small Business Banking for Capital One. According to Capital One’s quarterly nationwide survey, 67% of small business owners are optimistic about the economic outlook, particularly for their local economies, over the coming year. Women are especially positive with 57% of female business owners expecting improved financial performance in the coming 6 months. Gohman says small businesses are adopting mobile technology at a rapid pace, nevertheless, they say that SBA loans are too “complex and confusing”.
