Deutsche Bank shares sunk on Friday, after the Justice Department asked the bank to pay $14 billion in fines for mortgage-related activities stemming back to the financial crisis. Jochen Stanzl, chief market analyst at CMC Markets, based in Frankfurt, said the bank is in early stage negotiations with the U.S. government. Deutsche bank told The Wall Street Journal that it intends to negotiate the fine lower. TheStreet’s Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
