The week starts off quiet with no major reports on Monday but Tuesday kicks off with JPMorgan (JPM) and Wells Fargo (WFC) reporting. Blue chip Intel (INTC) will also post earnings after the bell. On the economic calendar, both the PPI and Retail Sales release at 8:30 am, eastern. On Wednesday, Bank of America (BAC) reports along with Delta (DAL) and Netflix (NFLX). Traders will also watch for the latest Industrial Production data and the Beige Book releases. More big banks post Q1 results on Thursday with Citigroup (C) and Goldman Sachs (GS) on tap. American Express (AXP) also reports earnings. Lots of items on the economic calendar as well with Housing Starts and Jobless Claims out in the morning followed by the Philadelphia Fed survey. Wrapping up the week, Dow component General Electric (GE) releases earnings along with Honeywell (HON). Investors will also get a more clues on the consumer with both the Consumer Price Index and Consumer Sentiment reports on Friday.
