‘Jurassic World’ is expected to bring in $125 million in its opening weekend at the box office. Opening in 4,273 theaters, Jurassic World is Universal Pictures’ widest release ever, and is the only major new release this weekend. Overseas, Jurassic World has already made a dent in the international box office, opening in a few countries yesterday like China and France. It’s already made $17.3 million in China, making it the country’s sixth biggest foreign film debut of all time. BlackBerry (BBRY) is considering equipping an upcoming smartphone with Google’s (GOOG) Android software for the first time, an acknowledgement that its revamped line of devices has failed to win mass appeal, according to four sources familiar with the matter. The Reuters sources, who asked not to be named as they have not been authorized to discuss the matter publicly, said the move to use Android is part of BlackBerry’s strategy to pivot to focus on software and device management. BlackBerry, which once dominated smartphone sales, now has a market share of less than 1 percent. Investors are applauding the exit of embattled Twitter (TWTR) CEO Dick Costolo.
