As Big Apple corporate chiefs sweat out Zohran Mamdani’s election as the city’s next mayor, a glamorous gathering in Boca Raton, Florida, is aiming to lure more Wall Street companies to South Florida.
In the wake of Zohran Mamdani’s stunning victory, events that include a “Supercar Showcase” of $15 million luxury autos and an awards presentation will showcase the area’s palm trees environment and luxury lifestyle.
It’s no secret that low-tax, warm-weather locales around the US have drawn large units of major firms from the northeast, including Ken Griffin’s Citadel that is now headquartered in Miami.
As we reported last year, once-sleepy Boca Raton’s recently surpassed leasing in West Palm. Roughly 40 NYSE- and Nasdaq-listed companies already make their home in the former Golden Triangle commercial district that’s now called Midtown.
“The Wall Street South Experience,” also dubbed as “Meet the Disrupters of Wall Street South,” on Dec. 2 and 3 will bring together Wall Street C-suite executives with what the sponsors call “South Florida’s brightest and best to watch in 2026.”
The program, curated by Gab Group PR founder Michelle Soudry, is sponsored by Noble Capital Markets, Inc., in partnership with The Money Channel NYC, Nasdaq, the NYSE and Bloomberg. Nasdaq will promote the conclave with an animated presentation on its famous Times Square digital-display tower.
Fox News host Bret Baier is the keynote speaker. Three “Shark Tank” regulars will also appear.
“The time was right — and the opportunity was undeniable — for Wall Street to finally meet South Florida, now known as Wall Street South, Soudry said. Executives from 200 New York area-based companies listed on the NYSE and Nasdaq will meet “powerful South Florida visionaries in finance, tech, crytpo and real estate,” she said.
Manhattan-based companies expected to send delegations to the event include Medallion Financial Co., BCP Investment Corp. and health-care specialists DocGo.
Attendees will also include former Florida Panthers owner Cliff Viner, diamond entrepreneur David Rosenberg and Arizona Ice Tea founder John Ferolito. A “Golden Bull” awards presentation will showcase South Florida’s luxury lifestyle.
Honorees include mega-developer Stephen M. Ross, Florida Lt. Gov. Jay Collins and Boca Raton resident Mike Tyson.
