Speaking at the U.N. Security Council, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned other member states of Russian nuclear threats and a series of possible “sham referendas” across Russian-held areas of Ukraine. Blinken added that it’s up to Russia to end the war, saying that “if Ukraine stops fighting, Ukraine ends.”
