Nearly 200 people gathered in Monterey Park, California, for a candlelight vigil to mourn the victims of a shooting at a local dance hall that left at least 11 people dead. Residents expressed shock and sadness over the shooting, saying that the area is a “safe and quiet neighborhood” of Los Angeles.
