Shares of Apple were higher on Wednesday after saying it will open a research and development center in Shenzhen, China. The announcement comes after the company disclosed plans last month for a $45 million research and development center in China’s capital Beijing. The two centers in China reflect Apple’s continued push for growth within the country. (Apple is a holding in Jim Cramer’s Action Alerts PLUS portfolio).
