Oil prices are at the highest level this year, above $60 a barrel. This ahead of key API data which is expected to show the oil market glut is abating. Output in Libya was slowed as well after protests at a key port there. News Corp (NWS) profit slid 52% on lower ad sales, especially at its newspaper division. It did see gains in book publishing and its digital real estate business. Electronic Arts (EA) has scored big with digital sales. Profit at the video game publishers rose more than 7% on solid revenue growth. EA shares have more than doubled in the past year as its reigned in costs. Mobile revenue, saw strong growth.
