In Wednesday’s Analysts’ Actions, we highlight downgrades for Twitter (TWTR) and Procter & Gamble (PG) as well as an upgrade for Eli Lilly (LLY). Following Twitter’s first quarter earnings miss, the company had its rating lowered to EQUALWEIGHT from OVERWEIGHT by analysts at Barclays. The social media giant’s first quarter earnings results were accidentally released early late Tuesday. Twitter also issued a weak outlook for the second quarter. Barclays lowered its price target, and cited Twitter’s decelerating. Procter & Gamble was also downgraded by analysts at Societe Generale. The firm no longer values the consumer goods company on a premium to its peers. Eli Lilly (LLY) was upgraded to BUY from NEUTRAL and had its price target raised by analysts at Citigroup. The firm increased its sales estimate for Lilly’s heart disease drug. TheStreet’s Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
