Amazon reports third quarter results on Thursday, after the markets close. Analysts expect per share earnings of $0.80 on sales of $32.7 billion. During the same quarter last year, it reported earnings of $0.17 a share on sales of $25.36 billion. Morningstar analyst RJ Hottovy will be watching for growth in the company’s cloud business, Amazon Web Services, as well as fourth quarter guidance, which accounts for the all-important holiday shopping season. Amazon shares are up 22.4% since the start of the year. TheStreet’s Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
