Shares of Amazon were higher Wednesday as it launches its new paid music streaming service. Amazon Music Unlimited is joining the increasingly crowded field and will compete against Apple Music and Spotify. Amazon’s service will cost $7.99 a month for members of Amazon’s Prime loyalty program. Non-Prime members will pay $9.99 a month, while owners of Amazon’s Echo will be able to get the service for $3.99 a month.
