Stacy Polley had a successful career in finance, becoming a partner at Goldman Sachs, before focusing more energy on her passion: performing. Every few years, she writes and produces a cabaret. The event is a massive fundraiser for her “Fork It Fund,” which has raised $4 million for Alzheimer’s research. It’s a cause closer to her heart. Her father recently passed away after battling the disease. Polley’s next performance – “Act VI: I Can’t Stand Still” – is taking place Oct. 8 at Sony Hall in Manhattan.
