Thousands of people in the U.S. are waiting for organ transplants but there are not enough donors. One solution to the shortage may be found in pigs. A Georgia grandmother is now the fifth person to receive an organ transplant from a genetically modified pig. She shared her story with NBC’s Valerie Castro.
