A wave of #AI-powered children’s #toys has hit shelves this #holiday season, claiming to rely on sophisticated chatbots to animate interactive robots and stuffed animals that can converse with kids. NBC News’ Kevin Collier, along with the Public Interest Research Group (PIRG), tested popular AI toys for kids and asked each toy questions about issues of physical safety, privacy concerns and inappropriate topics.
