Several Supreme Court justices yesterday questioned whether Aereo was stepping on copyright issues by broadcasting programming without permission. David Nelson, Chief Strategist at Belpointe Asset Management believes Aereo is facing the same problem that Napster faced, which is not paying for the content that is being provided. Of course, Napster lost that battle. Nelson believes Aereo will lose this battle, because even if they win, the broadcasters can fight back.
