For the week of May 11, we outline the key earnings reports and economic data to keep an eye on. A handful of retailers will grab headlines, plus a New York burger joint releases earnings results. Companies including Actavis (ACT), Sotheby’s (BID), GoDaddy (GDDY), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Macy’s (M), Shake Shack (SHAK), Nordstrom (JWN), Applied Materials (AMAT), and struggling Brazilian oil giant, Petrobras (PBR) are all reporting their latest financial results. On Wednesday, Shake Shack reports its second quarter as a public company since its initial public offering in January. The company has retained its valuation, and its stock price remains nearly triple its IPO price.
