After demand for its premium Mint cabins on New York flights exceeded expectations, JetBlue announced it will be adding Mint cabins to select routes from Boston, the airline’s second biggest city after its hub in New York. The new premium route will go between Boston and San Francisco starting in March and in October, 2016 for flights between Boston and Los Angeles. The airline will also be offering Mint cabin flights out of Boston to Barbados on a seasonal basis. Having previously only offered only coach-class seats, JetBlue unveiled the premium service, which includes lie-flat beds, private suites, 15-inch screens, and a curated and customizable tapas-style menu along with other amenities, for its cross-country passengers flying out of New York back in 2014.
