Drugmakers Pfizer (PFE) and Allergan (AGN) are considering combining, in what would be a blockbuster merger capping off a stretch of health care mergers and other takeovers this year. Allergan is best known as the company behind Botox but it does own other treatments. A Pfizer Allergan tie up would easily be the biggest deal of the year worth $300 billion. GoPro (GPRO) stock is plummeting 15% following a big earnings and sales miss. Shares could open at an all time low. GoPro said it earnings 25 cents a share, below the estimate of 29 cents. Shares of GoPro are down 50% in the past 3 months. Time Warner Cable (TWC) missed on both profit and revenue forecasts. The initial report on 3rd quarter Gross Domestic Product is released today and is expected to show a sharp slowdown from the second quarter.
