Donald Trump is still holding onto the top spot, according to the latest polls — but barely. The Real Clear Politics polling average shows Trump with 25.3 percent of the vote compared to Carson’s 24.5 percent. Senator Marco Rubio is in third place, Senator Ted Cruz in fourth place, while Governor Jeb Bush takes the fifth spot. The polling data comes ahead of the fourth GOP presidential debate, which airs Tuesday night on Fox Business Network. The debate will focus on the economy, jobs and fiscal issues. Governor Chris Christie, who was part of the pervious primetime GOP debate, will appear on the earlier debate Tuesday, amid low poll numbers. TheStreet’s Scott Gamm reports from New York.
