TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer doesn’t blame the slew of Williams Companies board members for resigning on Thursday. ‘I used to be a big fan of this group and the group has just let me down too many times ever since Kinder Morgan slashed the dividend,’ Cramer said. ‘I think these companies are paying out too much and I think their balance sheets are too levered.’ The resignations came after the board was unsuccessful in removing its CEO, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
