The title will feature high-speed mech clashes with a fusion of futuristic tech and dynamic battles. Zhuhai, China-based Seasun Games revealed the title at The Game Awards.

Mecha Break immerses players into the heart of combat as expert mech pilots, navigating the battleground across land and sky. Each player takes command of a personalized mech, crafted with customizable weapons, armor, chassis, and paint jobs.

From lightning-fast scouts to heavy-hitting artillery, the customization options caters to diverse playstyles and strategies, ensuring a unique experience for every player.

Mecha Break also room for artistic expression, allowing players to personalize every aspect of their mechs, including paint jobs, armor hues and internal frameworks. Delving deeper into the game’s narrative, each pilot comes with a distinct backstory and evolving journey. As players progress, their pilots grow in experience and storytelling, adding layers of depth and engagement to the game’s universe.

Mecha Break was unveiled at The Game Awards.

In the game, your arsenal is open as you can explore an assortment of assault, melee, sniper, reconnaissance, and support mechs, each offering a unique playstyle and mechanics.

You can also live out various pilot characters, each with distinct personalities and narratives, from a lone warrior to a fearless noble girl or seasoned veteran.

In multiplayer, you can join three-player or six-player squads in matches up to 48 players in battle-royale mode.

The highly anticipated Open Beta pre-registration for Mecha Break commences tomorrow on December 8, available for Windows PC via platforms such as Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The full release of Mecha BREAK is scheduled for 2024.

Established in 1995, Seasun Games serves as the gaming subsidiary of Kingsoft Corporation, among China’s pioneering gaming entities. With a workforce exceeding 2,000 across locations in Zhuhai, Chengdu, Silicon Valley, Beijing, and Shanghai, Seasun Games prioritizes independent research and development, featuring a self-developed 3D game engine.

The company’s portfolio spans PC standalone, PC online, and mobile platforms, emphasizing research, development, and independent publishing capabilities. Notably, the Sword Heroes’ Fate series garners over 4 million monthly active players in Asia, echoing Seasun Games’ commitment to delivering joyous gaming experiences to players worldwide.

The game features different mid-sized battlegrounds like Eye of Misra, Mercury Shipyards, and Cape Blanc Observatory. Players are randomly assigned to these battlegrounds, forming squads to complete missions. In the 6v6 battleground, tactical decisions are crucial, including cover, strategic retreats, and baiting enemies. Choosing the right team tactics at the right time is key to winning.

Mashmak: Form a team of three or six players to execute combat missions. Utilize your piloting skills to defeat enemy mechas, or employ strategic coordination for seamless victories and game-changing maneuvers. You’re in full control. Immerse yourself in a 48-player battleground, where you’ll encounter ambushes, hostile resistance, and the looming threat of colossal weapons. Navigate lethal pulse storms, skillfully evade pursuers, and claim victory alongside an abundance of spoils.

The three-versus-three Arena Mode requires you to pilot your 12-meter-tall mech and evade incoming missiles, while seizing strategic moments for decisive strikes.

You have the ability to personalize the weapons, shields, and wings, allowing you to tailor each mech’s appearance according to your preferences. Each mecha is divided into over 120 color modules. This allows players to create unique color combinations. Through battles or purchases, players can acquire common or rare paint colors. The game also offers a wide selection of patterns and decals.

The world is set after The Catastrophe. Triggered by a massive coronal mass ejection, the Catastrophe occurred as supercharged particle flows impacted Earth’s magnetic field. Collisions between highly active thermal mantle plumes and the crust led to earthquakes, volcanic activities, and the eruption of EIC.

Known in the lore as “Corite,” Eruptive Inorganic Carbide (EIC) emerged from geological disasters during the Revival Era. EIC manifests in towering mineral columns and hazardous mines formed by volcanic activities. With immense technological value, this enigmatic mineral possesses wide applications in the energy and tech industries, making it vital for post-Catastrophe reconstruction. However, it also poses a severe health risk and remains humanity’s greatest threat.

After the Catastrophe, Lunarians invented bipedal machines as the primary mode of transportation. These walking vehicles were designed to navigate lunar terrain, surpassing the limitations of traditional vehicles. Eventually, they were weaponized, leading to intense conflicts among powerful mechanized soldiers called Strikers. These adaptable armored units replaced conventional vehicles and showcased their dominance in resource struggles. The third-generation Strikers emerged as the elite among their kind.
