Futures rise on speculation of further European Central Bank stimulus that will be announced in their policy statement on Thursday. Coupled with the Federal Reserve’s announcement in September that they will not curb easing, it seems that central banks and global markets will not tighten. In earnings, AngloGold Ashanti reports a third quarter profit of $576 million which reverses a loss in the prior quarter. Tesla misses lofty auto sales projections, causing the stock to drop.
