With over 1 million apps in Google’s Google Play app store, finding the right app can be difficult. Luckily, Google just released its list of 127 ‘Must Have Apps’ on its app market. Google picked its favorites from a wide range of categories. While many of the apps like Netflix, Spotify, Youtube, and Buzzfeed may already be on many people’s Android phones, other apps like Duolingo and News Republic may be new to some Android users. Interestingly, there are some apps that are absent from the list of must-haves despite being on multiple Google Play top charts. However the best part of Google’s list of necessary apps is that they are almost all free to download. Whalen MacHale reports for TheStreet from New York.
