The improvement of relations between the U.S. and Cuba will continue to move forward even though the process toward normalization will move slowly. Mark Entwistle, founding partner of Acasta Capital and former Canadian Ambassador to Cuba, believes Cuba will be moved off the State Department’s list of countries that support terror. He also believes that the push toward improved relations with Cuba will not end even after President Obama leaves office. As American businesses consider investing in Cuba, they must prepare for dealing with potential corruption in the country, particularly theft. He spoke with TheStreet’s Rhonda Schaffler at the Cuba Opportunity Summit in New York.
