Just about half a year after closing its deal acquiring the Enterprise business of Motorola Solutions (MSI), Zebra Technologies (ZBRA) rang the opening bell at the Nasdaq Market site (NDAQ) to launch its new brand. Zebra technologies helps other companies track using its barcodes and other devices. Anders Gustafsson, the company’s CEO and President said aside from growing through M&A deals like the one it just completed, he plans to grow value for shareholders ‘organically.’ Gustafsson said ‘we have strong momentum in the business as we exited the fourth quarter’ and plans to continue to pay down debt. Zebra is also focusing on the Internet of Things like IBM (IBM) by creating a new category called ‘enterprise asset intelligence.’
