eBay is set to report results on Wednesday after the market close. So what can shareholders expect from the online auction giant? Analysts are predicting that results will match Wall Street estimates of 70 cents per share, up 3.7 percent from last year. Growth has been strong in the company’s payments sector and e-commerce business. While increasing site traffic is being driven by tablets and mobile devices as consumers shop on the go. eBay will also be releasing further details on the PayPal spin off that’s scheduled for the second half of this year. A question mark remains over how eBay will continue to drive growth without PayPal. Analysts have cut their estimates for eBay’s 2016 outlook by around 6 percent over the past 3 months, which may not bode well for eBay stock.
