According to a Wall Street Journal report, President Trump was told by the attorney general in May that he was named in the Jeffrey Epstein files. The report said “the files contained what officials felt was unverified hearsay about many people, including Trump, who had socialized with Epstein in the past.” A mention in the files does not suggest wrongdoing. The White House called the story “fake news.” NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell reports.
