Women need to speak the language of money in order to gain control of their financial futures, said Nicole Lapin, Author of ‘Rich Bitch.’ Lapin added that young women can start on the road to financial security by getting credit card debt under control. She said a simple way to reduce debt is to allow for small indulgences so as not to binge shop later on and blow a budget. Lapin said young women should use a ‘Little Budget Diary’ to methodically eliminate their debt load. Finally, Lapin said young women can learn about stocks by investing in consumer items they know and regularly use.
