NBC News follows a group of women who allege they were sexually abused by their former pastor Joe Campbell when they were children and teens. Now, decades later, they’ve reunited and are determined to stop the alleged predatory preacher who may still be running a camp for kids. NBC News Digital Docs cameras are with them as they file police reports, gather their own evidence and search for additional potential victims in their quest to hold Pastor Joe Campbell and his wife, Becky, accountable.
Correspondent Antonia Hylton and NBC Senior Reporter Mike Hixenbaugh spoke with the women who allege they were sexually abused by Campbell, and dozens of others who’ve corroborated their accounts which go back four decades and span four states. NBC News also uncovers potentially missed opportunities to address those accusations over the years.
