Stocks closed at session highs on Friday after turning higher on news Greece had reached a deal with its Eurozone creditors to extend its bailout by four months. Boeing (BA) was the blue chips’ leader throughout the day on strong volume. Sterne Agee boosted its price target pushing Boeing higher. Oil closed with its first weekly loss in a month. Prices dropped about a buck to settle at $50.81 a barrel. A couple of big gains in the retail space. The parent company of Ann Taylor (ANN) swung up 5% on a report that it was considering putting itself up for sale. According Bloomberg, the women’s retailer is working with JPMorgan (JPM) on a potential deal. And despite missing its Q4 earnings, Nordstrom (JWN) closed nearly 6% higher. The department store also issued a full-year outlook that was far worse than analysts expected. But investors seemed to be focused on the top line number of $4.04 billion in revenue.
