U.S. markets were mostly flat at Thursday’s midday trading with the exception of the Nasdaq holding a firmer grip higher. The S&P 500 is slipping in the red and the Dow is trying to grab gains. Energy stocks Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Chevron (CVX) are holding back the blue chips from rising higher as investors assess mounting oil supplies. Kohl’s (KSS) is gaining in the session after reporting earnings above estimates. The retailer also raised its dividend by 15%. Shares of Salesforce (CRM) are skyrocketing after meeting Q4 expectations. The stock is up nearly 11% despite issuing weaker guidance.
