Millennials are stepping into the political spotlight, according to one expert. ‘Three millennials are running for mayors across the country and several are running for Congress,’ said David Burstein, founder and CEO of Run for America, an organization that helps to engage millennials in the political process. He said the gridlock in Washington is encouraging millennials to take charge and throw their own hats into the race, despite not having decades of experience in politics.
