Apple is set to launch a streaming TV service this fall, according to the Wall Street Journal. TheStreet’s Jim Cramer says investors should buy cable companies off the weakness because the cable companies have always figured out a way to be able to deal with these things and they’ll do it again. The Apple Web TV service would include 25 channels including major networks like ABC, CBS and Fox and would cost around $40 a month. The news comes on the heels of Apple’s announcement last week that it would partner with HBO to carry HBO Now, the cable network’s streaming service coming in April. Cramer says expect more deals to come. Apple is a core holding in Jim Cramer’s Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust portfolio.
