News of eurozone leaders approving Greece’s bailout extension didn’t do much to move the markets at Tuesday’s opening bell. It’s Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen that’s expected to call the shots in today’s trading. The Fed’s semi-annual testimony to the Senate Banking Committee is scheduled to start at 10 a-m, eastern time. Investors will be listening for further hints on the timing of interest rates hikes. The Case-Shiller index showed home prices increased 4.5% in December from the same period last year, analysts were expected a rise of 4.3%. Home Depot (HD) reported a surge in sales and easily beat Q4 earnings estimates. The retailer posted earnings of $1.05 a share with revenue of $19.2 billion.
