In 2020, Alphabet (the parent company of Google), Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, and Netflix had driven much of the growth in the stock market. In early July, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway portfolio was reportedly nearly 50% Apple stock. With the amazing performance of some technology stocks leaving the rest of the market behind, should stock investors sell their top-performing stocks in favor of a more diversified portfolio?
