Walt Disney holds its annual shareholders meeting in San Francisco today and it comes as the company is on the hot streak. In February, Disney reported a profit of $2.2 billion for the fiscal quarter. It’s recent hit “Big Hero 6” won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature at last month’s Academy Awards. It’s live action remake of “Cinderella” opens this weekend at the box office. Shareholders will be asked to elect 10 new board members. There are also two proposals up for vote. One would separate the positions of Chairman and CEO after current CEO Robert Iger leaves. The other would limit executive pay increases.
