Sean Spicer has resigned from his position as White House press secretary, according to a report from The New York Times on Friday.
The Times also reports that former hedge fund manager Anthony Scaramucci is expected to be tapped as White House Communications Director.
The White House has not made an official announcement yet and has not responded to TheStreet’s request for comment.
Meanwhile, Axios is reporting that White House Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon was not in favor of the Scaramucci decision.
Scaramucci spoke at an event held by TheStreet back in March, where he praised Bannon.
