A company controlled by Donald Trump violated the long-running trade embargo with Cuba, according to Newsweek. The media report says the company, then known as Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, spent at least 68 thousand dollars doing business in Cuba in the late nineties. The report cites interviews with former executives, internal company records along with court findings. The report says the company did not spend the money directly, but rather, funneled the cash through a consulting firm.
