Get ready to Netflix and chill…with a view from orbit! NASA said it plans to team up with the streaming service to bring space a little closer to home. Starting this summer, you’ll be able to stream rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks and views of Earth — all from your couch, on Netflix.
It’s part of NASA’s mission to reach as many people as possible, globally — and with an estimated 700 million users on Netflix, they’re shooting for the stars.
NASA said its content will remain free and ad-free on the NASA app and website, where it already has live programming.
The agency said it’s committed to “a Golden Age of Innovation and Exploration – inspiring new generations – right from the comfort of their couch or in the palm of their hand from their phone.”
