Lexus unveiled the RX 350 and RX 350 hybrid at the New York International Auto Show and expects the new vehicles will attract buyers even in the crowded crossover market. Mark Templin, executive vice president of Lexus International says the RX luxury brand has brought in 2.1 million new customers over the past few years. Templin says car buyers will be attracted to the new design features of the RX, but wouldn’t say whether the RX 350 will include a third row of seating in future models. Templin also said that after Lexus reported record sales in March, he expects the sales momentum will continue through the rest of the year. He added the U.S. will remain the biggest and most important market for Lexus, but there are opportunities to continue to grow in smaller markets.
