Jobless claims for the week ended Jan. 4 fell to 330,000 from 345,000. Wells Fargo Funds Management Chief Equity Strategist John Manley tells TheStreet’s Joe Deaux that it was a good claims report. Economists expect the U.S. economy in December to add 196,000 jobs and for the unemployment rate to remain at 7%.
