Smucker Company , released on Thursday before the markets open. ‘That stock got hit because people thought the economy is overheating and as soon as you get a situation where an employment number is only 38,000, people circle back to that,’ he said. ‘The super packaged goods group is back.’ The company is expected to report profit of $1.20 a share on sales of roughly $1.7 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, profit stood at $0.98 a share with sales of $1.45 billion.
