McDonald’s reportedly plans to reintroduce its Chicken Selects to its menu in a bid to revive flagging sales and draw a crowd. Good first step but there’s more the world’s largest fast food chain can do to restore its popularity. First, the Big M should look to capitalize on celebrity relationships it already has. It worked with Michael Jordan and with a partnership with LeBron James already inked, lightning can strike twice. Next, the chain needs to introduce more items for consumers on the go, similar to Taco Bell’s sandwich wraps. Third, bring back movie tie-ins. With so many blockbusters out this year, it’s a winning strategy.
