Alphabet and Google President and Chief Investment Officer Ruth Porat said the US is one year-plus ahead of China in AI models, but cautioned this lead is not to be taken for granted. Porat said working with the Trump administration on a bold and responsible regulatory framework will play a critical role in the AI race in a conversation with Bloomberg’s Erik Schatzker at Bloomberg House in Davos.
