European officials are not letting Google (GOOG) get off lightly. The search giant continues to battle an antitrust case slamming its Internet dominance. But now the company’s crushed business rivals are also fighting back, with the help of a new online platform called GRIP. The initiative has been set up by Hausfield Law firm and Avisa Partners public affairs consultant to help companies file civil lawsuits against Google for financial damages. Many competitors are claiming that Google has abused its market share to push its own services and divert traffic away from rival sites. GRIP stands for Google Redress and Integrity Platform and is working to win compensation for internet businesses.
